How to Register as a Bidder

When to Register

We encourage you to register now so that you will be ready to bid once the auction goes live.

The online auction will open Friday, November 4th at 9 AM and close on Saturday, November 12th at 9:15 PM.


Becoming a Bidder

1. Go to the online bidding site https://dining22.ggo.bid/bidding/package-browse

2. In the top right corner of the page, click the "Get Started" button.

3. Create an account or log-in to an existing account. If you don’t have an account already, click the green “Create Account” button on the left side of the page.

4. On the next screen, enter your email address in both fields and click the reCAPTCHA box confirming you are not a robot before clicking Confirm.

  • Having trouble registering? Don't see the "I'm not a robot" box? Double check that JavaScript has been enabled in your browser.
  • Not sure how to enable JavaScript, follow these instructions for your browser type.
  • Be sure to refresh or reload the page after you enable Javascript.

5. A confirmation email will be sent to you. Check your inbox for an email from “Greater Giving Login.”

  • If you don't receive an email check your spam or click the "Resend Email" button on the "Verify Email" page.

6. Enter all your contact information, along with your credit card.

  • IMPORTANT: Enter your cell phone number to receive text message alerts when the auction opens and updates about your favorite auction items.
  • You will only be charged if you make a donation or are the winning bidder on an auction package.
  • Greater Giving is a PCI-Level 1 Compliant credit card processing company. Your card information is securely stored and then removed from our database after the event.

7. Confirm all information is correct and click the green “Create” button at the bottom of the page.

8. Click the large green gavel button that reads "Start Bidding" underneath it.

9. You're all set and ready to Bid! Scroll down to see all auction items.


Navigating the Bidding Page

Once logged in, scroll down to browse all auction items. At the top of the page you can also find a "Learn to Bid" (gavel) icon. This can be helpful once you are registered.

  • Click the ≡ button in the top left corner of the page to open the menu for Bids, Favorites, and Categories.
  • Favorites - Use the star ☆ to save auction items for later viewing.
  • Bids - See auction items that you have bid on already.
  • Act Now - Sort auction items quickly by No Bids, Currently Open, and more.
